THE KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

Diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Bahrain were established on 24th September 1988. On 20th June 2001, Brunei Darussalam opened its mission in Manama at Charge de’ Affaires level, whilst non-resident Ambassador is accredited from Saudi Arabia. Brunei Darussalam Charge d’Affairés in Manama is Haji Ahmad bin Haji Jumat. 


A number of cooperative agreements have been concluded including Agreement on Air Services (27th June 1990, Manama) & MOU on Cooperation in Investment and Financial Sectors (25th January 2003, BSB). 
Since 1st May 2006, Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Bahrain have agreed to permit 14 days Visa on Arrival on reciprocal basis.
